Ippiart Studio developed a high-comfort train carriage for the TransClassService company.

The new carriage offers many extra amenities that weren’t available to passengers in Russia before: electronic door locks, individual climate control for each compartment, conductor call buttons, folding tables, transformable chair-beds, safe deposit boxes for every passenger, showers and toilets in family compartments, and much more.

The first serial carriage has entered service in the new train "Ingushetia" of the Russian Railways. At the opening ceremony, the company's president, Vladimir Yakunin, noted: "In the seven years of my leadership, this is the first time I have seen carriages of such an original composition," the website ingushetia.ru reports.

The layout of the prototype carriage includes one 4-berth compartment, six 2-berth SV compartments, and two family compartments, equipped with showers and toilets. Thanks to the new layout, up to ten 4-berth compartments can be placed in a standard carriage, compared to nine in the usual configuration.

Main corridor of the carriage. On the doors next to the compartment number, the conductor call indicator button lights up. The passenger, having pressed the button in his compartment, sends a signal to the conductor service compartment. A short signal sounds, and the light with the compartment number on the carriage control panel lights up. The call indicator is also clearly visible from the main corridor of the carriage. A conductor can turn off the reminder by pressing the indicator button near the compartment door from which the call came.
